The playground from your AI assistant
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code create a PHP, Symfony or Laravel playground for you and give you its link: open it, click Run, and the code runs in your browser. Just add our MCP server to your assistant, free and with no account.
MCP server address
A remote MCP server (streamable HTTP), with no authentication.
https://apprendre.forelse.fr/mcp
Add it to your assistant
- Claude
- On claude.ai or in the app: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, then paste the address above.
- Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http php-playground https://apprendre.forelse.fr/mcp- ChatGPT
- In the settings, under Apps & Connectors, turn on developer mode, then create a connector with the address above.
- Cursor
- In ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in your project):
{ "mcpServers": { "php-playground": { "url": "https://apprendre.forelse.fr/mcp" } } }- VS Code
- In .vscode/mcp.json, then use Copilot's agent mode:
{ "servers": { "php-playground": { "type": "http", "url": "https://apprendre.forelse.fr/mcp" } } }
What to ask
- “Create a Symfony playground with a /hello/{name} controller that answers in JSON.”
- “Show me in a Laravel playground how to validate a form with a FormRequest.”
- “Make a PHP playground with Carbon that shows how many days are left until Christmas.”
- “My service isn't injected into this controller: isolate the problem and make me a Symfony playground that reproduces it.”
- “Here is my playground link: why does my route return a 404?”
The server's tools
get_starter- A playground's starting project: its files, what can be edited, and the Composer packages available in plain PHP.
create_sandbox- Creates a playground link from the files the assistant changed.
read_sandbox- Reads the code behind a playground link, to explain or fix it.
Nothing is stored, nothing runs on the server
The server only builds the link: the code travels inside it, after the #, and we keep nothing. The code then runs in your browser, in WebAssembly, and only after you click Run. We count the calls (framework, language, assistant used) to measure usage, never the code.
