The sandbox that displays the preview of your code is served from a separate domain, forelsebox.app, by the same host. This separation keeps the code running in your browser isolated from the site itself.

Intellectual property

The platform's engine is free software, released under the GNU AGPL v3 licence. You may obtain its source code, study it, modify it and redistribute it under the terms of that licence.

The tracks, exercises, course notes, texts, illustrations and the Forelse brand are not covered by that licence: they remain the property of the publisher or of their respective authors. Any reproduction or distribution beyond personal learning use requires written permission.

The code you write in the exercises belongs to you.

The names of the languages, frameworks and software taught or mentioned are trademarks or works of their respective owners. This site refers to them to describe what it teaches: it is not sponsored or endorsed by, nor affiliated with, any of them.
