PHP playground

A PHP 8.4 project with no framework runs here, in your browser: route requests in public/index.php, write your classes in src/, run a script with php, and see the result right away. Ideal to try a PHP function, reproduce a bug or show code to a colleague, without installing PHP or creating an account.

A PHP 8.4 project with no framework runs in your browser, with nothing to install: edit the code and the preview updates as you type.

  • The code: public/index.php receives every request and picks the page, templates/accueil.php displays it. The classes in src/ (namespace App\) are loaded by Composer, with no require. The file tree's ＋ button creates more classes, views or scripts.
  • The preview: type an address in its bar, for example /bonjour/Ada.
  • The console: the Console tab runs a script, like a terminal, for example php bin/bonjour.php Ada.
  • Run reloads the preview; New project starts again from the starting project.

Share creates a link that contains your code: whoever opens it gets your project as it is, without an account. The code travels inside the link itself, after the #: the server never receives it nor keeps it. Your draft stays in this browser.
