Sign-ups

The poster is drawing a crowd. Time for sign-ups.

The specifications

Signing up, on a story night's page (/story-nights/{id})

• a form with the name, the email address and the number of guests, and a “Sign me up” button;
• a valid sign-up is saved, then the traveler comes back to the page, with You are signed up for "The Dragon of the Mountain" (2 guests). A scroll is on its way to confirm it., and the seats left up to date;
• a scroll goes out to their address:
  • subject: Your seat for "The Dragon of the Mountain";
  • in HTML, it recalls the title, the storyteller, the date (October 5, 2026 at 20:00) and the number of guests (“2 guests”).

The rules

• the seats are never exceeded. A sign-up with too many guests is rejected (422), with Not enough seats: only 1 left.; the last seat, though, can be taken;
• a full story night no longer shows the form, and a forced request signs no one up;
• the entity's rules apply: a valid address, a single sign-up per address and per story night;
• a rejected sign-up saves nothing and sends nothing.
