Pippin wanted to “optimize the aviary”. Since then, Gorm has been getting complaints:
- no confirmation arrives any more, and yet the messages do go through the queue;
- an adventurer booked for Mordor; his message vanished without a trace;
- the evening summary has stopped going out altogether;
- and when it is triggered by hand, it announces… today.

Four breakdowns, four different places. Find them and fix them, without breaking anything else.

The trickiest lead
A message only carries data, and it is read later, somewhere else. If what it carries is not what the handler thinks it receives, the handler will work in a vacuum: without the slightest error, without the slightest trace. Read again what the controller puts in the envelope, and what the handler does with it.
